We decided to take a little adventure with the family and actually use the free zoo bus tour pass that we always get but never use when we get our annual zoo passes. We knew that it was a little bit of a risk to go with a possible chance of rain showers, but we had no idea that we would get dumped on. We even had an umbrella in the car that I threw back in because the weather was looking promising, but boy was I wrong! While we waited in line, it started to pour and we were getting sopping wet which doesn't work so great when you have a newborn baby in tow. We ended up buying expensive rain ponchos that were basically clear garbage bags for $4 each! Even though we walked out totally wet, it is a zoo memory that we won't forget any time soon :)!
