Ryan's first airplane ride

As our family has gotten bigger and bigger, we have had less opportunities to travel. One day a number of months ago when the kids were talking about different places we had been, we discovered that Ryan had never been on an airplane ride - ever! (Well, unless you want to count when I was pregnant with him). Anyway, right then and there Jared decided that he wanted to give Ryan a birthday gift of a plane ride. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the right conditions for a plane ride on his birthday, but it was a couple of days after. So, last minute on a beautiful morning while Julia and Dallin were already at school, Jared reserved a plane and asked Ryan if he wanted to go up in a plane ride with him. Ryan thought that he was just kidding (which usually Jared is, and Ryan knows his dad well enough to know that about his dad now). He was so excited when he discovered that he was serious! He had such a great time not only on the plane ride but on his special date with his Daddy.
