Discovery Science Center

Since we didn't really go anywhere for Julia's spring break, we decided to have our own local adventure. On a Thursday afternoon we took off and drove up the road about an hour to San Clemente and checked into a little hotel. We made sure that we found one that had a pool to swim in for the kids. We went to dinner at a local Carrows (like a Denny's) and came back, took the kids swimming and watched a movie on the TV. The next morning we went into Irvine where they have a neat Discovery Center where they had a special bubble and dinosaur show and two floors of fun things to entertain the kids imaginations. We had a blast escaping as a family and having a pretend vacation. I would highly recommend it.
