Our Christmas Eve was spent with our good family friends the Shupes. They had invited us months before as soon as they found out that we were staying home for Christmas. We had such a great time participating in their family traditions too. We had a nice traditional dinner and then had a reenactment of the nativity scene where Julia was Mary, Dallin was a wise man and Ryan was well an extra I guess. After that, at their house, a Christmas Elf comes and brings little presents for everyone to enjoy. The kids got things like coloring books, silly headbands and little toys. The moms got things like socks, gloves and lotions. And the dad's got things like BYU blankets, chap sticks and talking fly swatters. The kids that this was the best thing ever! The evening ended with us letting all of our kids open up their Christmas pajamas. Thank You Shupe Family - We love you!
