Christian's 1st Birthday!

We decided that while we had family visiting for New Year's, we would celebrate Christian's birthday a couple days early. We celebrated his birthday on the 1st instead of the 3rd. I love how excited the other kids get when we get to celebrate a siblings birthday. For an FHE in December, we took the kids to Party City where we let the kids help decide the theme for his birthday party and pick out a few decorations for it. Julia in particular who is the family party planner had such a ball thinking of how to make it just perfect for him. Christian was just thrilled to have balloons! So, in honor of his birthday, I'm going to write just a couple of my favorite things about him.

*Christian, you have the must hilarious fetish with people's belly buttons. You go around chasing people lifting up their shirts and wanting to tickle them in their belly buttons while making a tickling sound with your mouth.

*Christian, you can make bubbles with your mouth. You do it over and over while saying, "mom" very slowly. This is turn makes the kids laugh really hard and it eggs you on to do it even more.

*Christian, you have the most piercing blue eyes and it amazes everyone. Your hair is also so blond. Every day I have to take a moment and just look at you and wonder how you came from me. Whenever I take you to the store, people always comment on what a beautiful little boy you are. I can't take all the credit, but putting all things aside, you really are an extremely cute baby.

*Christian even though you are a handful and decided to start walking before any of your other siblings at the beginning of 10 months, you are such a delight to have in our home making us all turn into mush with your cute ways and adorable smile.
