This year Christmas landed a Sunday. I didn't mind at all because I think that it brings us all back to the real meaning of Christmas. But, it's hard for kids to understand why they can't open any presents before having to get ready and go to church. It was especially difficult due to the fact that church started at 9am. I did let the kids look in their stockings and at their Santa presents, but it was a little rushed. We came back from church and had a relaxing afternoon opening presents and enjoying the day together.
