I am so grateful that we have a whole week off for Thanksgiving. It allows us to travel to spend the holiday with family. This year we decided to take an extra day just with our little family and see temple square on our way to Idaho. We took the kids to both visitors centers, the conference center and Church History Museum. This was such a great opportunity for the kids to see where the prophet speaks when we watch him from our TV twice a year. Hopefully it solidified some of the things that we talk about at home during our gospel study.
We then made our way to Idaho where we had a blast hanging out with lots and lots of family! We were all a little disappointed with the small amount of snow this year, but it did make for dry roads to drive on which I'm always grateful for. The kids always have so much fun making memories with their cousins. There are so many things that I am grateful for at Thanksgiving, but my amazing family it at the top of the list!
