Ryan didn't seem to mind that Santa forgot some pieces of the track at the north pole.

Merry Christmas! It is so fun to see how excited the kids are on Christmas morning! Santa was very successful this year and made everyone very happy. The only problem was that Santa's helper elves must have forgotten to bring a couple of the pieces to Ryan's Lightening McQueen train tracks because there were some pieces missing and it couldn't even make a full circle :( Hopefully Fisher Price will send some free replacement parts. After an enjoyable Christmas morning with our little kids, we quickly packed some bags and drove to my parents house. We had a seven hour drive in front of us and we wanted to make it for Christmas dinner. The roads were nice and clear and for the most part, we had an enjoyable day. Maybe next year we can convince some grandparents to join us for the holidays.
