When we went to my parents house, all eight of us kids were able to be together for a couple of days. It has been over three years since we have all been together, and it will probably be another number of years before it will happen again. Even though we were a loud and crazy bunch when we were all together, we had a lot of fun. We stayed up late playing lots of fun new games, went to the movies a couple of times, and enjoyed each other's company. One of the mornings we had family pictures taken and it was quite comical trying to get all the little kids to smile and hold still. It was so much fun to see the kids enjoy the company of their cousins too. It was an especially enjoyable visit when there were doting aunts and uncles that are still young and entertaining to my kids that would jump on the trampoline with them or take them to the park or even paint their fingernails and pretend to have a beauty salon. Thank you guys - your the best. Also, a special thank you to Mom and Dad for putting up with us and all of our messes for a week - we love you!

It was so nice to come catch up on your blog. Although you have been blogging ALL ALONG, I have not been so avid. We miss you guys. We need to pay another visit... and soon!!!
