So, my friend Melanie that started this tradition of doing an activity each day of December for the kids found this great place called Feeding America where they help provide less privileged kids food I think to last them over the weekends. Because our kids are still young, there were limited things that they could do to help. None the less we wanted to give our kids an opportunity for a service project and they were thrilled to have us come. They gave us a wear house room that had lots of plane brown bags that they put the food in for the kids to take home. So our kids were given the task to decorate as many bags as possible with stickers, glitter, markers and more. I was so proud - we decorated 70 bags in a couple of hours. Now those kids will get to take their food home in a beautifully decorated bag. This was such a great opportunity for the kids to think of others during Christmas. This will definitely become a tradition. A special thanks to Katherine for taking all of our little ones. We wouldn't have been able to do nearly as many with them in tow.
